How We're Giving Back on Giving Tuesday This Year

Since the start, our mission has been to help people live their most comfortable lives—and we’ve realized that this shouldn’t be limited to those who have homes. Homelessness carries such a negative stigma, but the truth is that it can happen to almost anyone unexpectedly due to an endless list of situations. One of the top reasons that people become homeless is due to job loss, which has affected thousands of people during this pandemic.

While we’re all being encouraged to stay at home as much as possible, those who are experiencing homelessness have become more vulnerable than ever without the proper protection needed to stay healthy.

At Coop, we are starting an initiative to assist those experiencing homelessness.

While we’ve been donating returned, lightly used pillows to local homeless shelters since we began, we know there’s so much more that we can do to help.

As a start, we’ll be donating 15% of our net profit on Giving Tuesday (12/1/20) to The National Alliance to End Homelessness, a nonpartisan organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States.

This will be an ongoing process for us, and we hope that we can help make this world a more comfortable place for all little by little. We hope you’ll join us this Giving Tuesday.
