Can a cooling pillow protector be washed?
Yes! The cooling pillow protector is machine washable. Put the pillow cover in the washing machine separately on a cold gentle cycle with mild detergent, and dry on tumble dry low. Be sure to not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not iron or dry clean the cooling pillowcase.

This pillow is extremely comfortable and the cool side really does work, but be prepared to either buy another one after a few months or switch back to a traditional pillowcase. It suffers from frequent and extreme pilling from any friction from washing or sleeping on it. These pills can be pulled off but long strands of fine material comes with it, often accidentally being pulled off while you’re sleeping giving the feeling of having spider webs on your face. The pilling isn’t really that bad for the first while but eventually it gets to the point where you have to remove pills every night or just deal with having them there. Otherwise, this pillow has been really comfortable and it gives very good night sleeps to a side-sleeper like me, generally making it worth the annoying pilling problem in my opinion. It would be really nice to not have to deal with that though but I guess there’s other pillowcases on the market for that. 4/5

The cool side pillow case is initially cool to the touch but does fade once body heat is transfered. Luckily a slight shift on the pillow brings you to a new cool spot.

Some have written that it's slippery but I have not experienced that. I really LOVE the pillow & pillow case. Definitely plan to buy another set soon!
