The Coolest Sheets Out There
Weeks after dropping a stuffed mattress load of cash on a set of King sized bamboo sheets from a company I won’t mention by name here, I began to search elsewhere for a set that was softer, more comfortable, more colorful, and less prone to wrinkling. In 2017 my wife and I spent several nights at a Cape Cod inn on the nicest sheets we’d encountered up to that point. The innkeeper said we could order sheets directly from the supplier, Comphy Sheets, which is what I did soon after. While those sheets are still going strong, they do not fit our King sized mattress. Having done some online research I discovered that Comphy Sheets had since merged with Coop Sleep Goods, and I questioned whether or not the sheets would be of the same high quality. I decided to find out and purchased a set from their new CoolSpa line. I’m glad I did—these are even better than the original set of Comphy sheets that we bought—they are softer, smoother, silkier, and are refreshingly cool against the skin, especially in the warmer weather, and they don’t wrinkle like the bamboo sheets (and were even less expensive than the bamboo sheets). These new sheets also have spandex in them, which I surprisingly found to be a positive addition, as the elasticity seems to make night-time adjustments easier. I was so pleased with the sheets that I purchased a duvet cover soon after—another quality product that looks great and has a weight to it that helps keep our down comforter in place. I think these are the best bedding products out there.

The CoolSpa sheets are definitely cooling and satiny soft. However, because they are so satiny, my top blanket slides off the bed all night long. So, whereas before I had the sheets, I woke up because I’d get hot, now I wake up continuously to pull the blankets up to stop them from falling off the bed.

My favorite sheets
I slept in a hotel with the most amazing sheets I had ever felt in my life and had to track them down! I stalked the hotel until they directed me to Comphy cool spa and I am absolutely in love. They feel like you’re sleeping in a cool cloud!
