The quality is definitely not the same- it feels less “nice” and is not as “cushion-y” or as luxurious as it use to be. Sad :(

United StatesI had hoped to receive the exact same filling as when I purchased the original pillow a few years ago. The past reviews have been true in that the filling certainly is much different. It's heavier, it's lighter in color, different shape, it has less cooling gel and most surprisingly the filling was stuffed in between what I can only describe as cotton balls. Once placed in the pillow, it certainly is feels more stiff. Unfortunately not happy with it. The first photo shows on the left the original filling and on the right the new filling. The subsequent photos are a close-up of the new filling. Lots of fluff, little substance.
