What is the difference between shredded memory foam and cross-cut memory foam?
Shredded memory foam pillows are made of tiny, shredded pieces of memory foam filling. The pieces of shredded fill makes the shredded memory foam pillow more breathable than a traditional memory foam pillow made with a more dense fill because there is additional room for the air to circulate between the shredded pieces. At Coop Sleep Goods, we cross-cut our foam vs. shredded because it is even better for consistency, non-clumping, and circulation.
Is cross-cut microfiber good for back and neck pain?

Best pillow ever!
This pillow has changed my sleeping experience. I have gone from using multiple pillows to one — the coop original. I usually sleep on my side but I sometimes sleep on my back. The pillow is great either way. I bought it after ordering the toddler pillow for our 3 year old. He used to throw his old toddler pillow off the bed. He uses the coop pillow every night and loves it.

For the last couple years I'd been using their original classic pillow after seeing them highly rated by CR. Earlier this year I noticed my sleeping position had changed and found myself mostly resting on my side (previously stomach). Thus during the night my shoulder would keep moving the pillow away from my neck. I bought this along with the original crescent shape to try help alleviate the neck/shoulder pain. Ended up choosing the latter as my sleeping pillow since I also occasionally sleep on my back. However, I kept this to use while I'm watching TV since I like to lie down and if I fall asleep on the couch no crinks in my neck at all! The negative for me is the lack of choices for pillowcase covers as I'm not a huge fan of white. Also, it has to be washed on a gentle cycle. The rest of my bedding can be done on a normal cycle so it adds another load that needs to be done on laundry day. The quality of the cover stitching could do with a bit of improvement. The first time I took off the cover to wash the stitching along the zipper was already coming undone. Half the time the zipper now gets caught on the thread.
