How do you use a knee pillow?
Knee pillows bring ideal alignment throughout the night, especially for side sleepers. The best way to use a knee pillow is to place it between your knees in a slightly forward bent position, which should allow your hips to rest in a neutral position. The contoured knee pillow is designed with an hourglass shape to take the pressure of your upper leg off your hips, to bring proper spinal alignment, and to decrease lower back pain.
What does putting a pillow between your knees do?
There are many benefits to sleeping with a pillow between your knees. Putting a firm pillow between your knees helps to keep them aligned along with your spine. Additionally, it may also reduce stress on your hips. If you are experiencing poor spinal alignment, bad sleep posture, or knee pain, consider using an orthopedic knee pillow to alleviate some discomfort. Can I use a regular pillow instead of a knee pillow?
Although placing a traditional pillow between your legs when sleeping may provide some pain relief, our knee pillows are specifically designed to enhance pressure relief and bring maximum support for knee pain, leg pain, or hip pain. At Coop Home Goods, our solid memory foam knee pillow insert can be adjusted for any sleep position so that all types of sleepers can find an elevation level that is comfortable for them.

- side sleeper
Leg still needs regular pillow support, but this should work later. Adjustable filler is a big plus. Soft.
Helpful sleep aid
Based on my posative experience with Coop pillows and mattress topper, I decided to try the knee pillow. My attempt at making my own knee pillow failed as it did not provide enough support and would not stay in place during the night. The Coop knee pillow solved those problems due to it’s shape and firmness. I am still experimenting with the inserts, but like it a lot.
Pillow appears to be working
I just received my knee pillow, in record time, and so far it seems to be working. Need a little longer to assess my lower back pain, but so far it seems to help.
Bulky, but eliminated morning back pain
I am a side sleeper. I used to use a small pillow between my legs, just to cushion them. I awoke with lower back pain most mornings. The orthopedic knee pillow took some adjustment, both to get the fill right for me and to get used to sleeping with it. But the pain is gone, and that’s worth the trouble for sure.
The thickness is great, I found the proper thickness for me. The only comment I would make, is that it is doesn’t need to be as long as it is or as thick on the ends. It could lose 2-3 inches in each end and still be wonderful. Thanks
